Hi Pam, yes, Steam Oil is a Strange name for the Coffee Ice Cream, allow me to share my understanding.

The Farm where we get the Ice Cream has been around since 1796. It is one of the Oldest continuously working Farms in the U.S. and has been in the same Family during that time, the Mitchell Family. Grandpa is in his 90's now, but several years ago, a Friend of his with a Train Museum asked Grandpa to make a "signature" flavor for his

Train Museum. Grandpa created Steam Oil Ice Cream and introduced Green Caramel to resemble the Oil in the Trains.

It's hard to find good Coconut Ice Cream

Hi Rosie, you are correct, the Coconut Ice Cream is definitely a cut above the rest.

I think the creaminess of the Ice Cream base is a nice contrast to the sweet crunchy Coconut Flakes. It's definitely a must try for "Coconut Lovers".

let the exodus begin

new Years eve. Jan 1st 12:05AM my problem child walked out with tray in green bag. fastfwd jan 11th, wrote up rules for taking ice cream and already started questioning how to get around it. I stated, it is as such, but I could see in her eyes it wasnt over. She was also scheduled for Sat and tells me on Thurs she not gonna make it, Mom made Dentist appt. This Girl unlike any other i have seen, actually sent screenshots of her schedule to her Mom, so very suspect. She got her Cousin to take the shift and then comes in during the shift and has her Cousin make her what we used to call "the Kitchen sink". everything under the sun . Pumps and pumps of Ghirardeli, Hershey's caramel, cream, whipped cream ( kind of looked like what can we add to take the most advantage of Jeff, I know add more chocolate) and rings up a small coffee. When they finally left, the poor girl had a line out the door and people actually walked away, rather than wait.

Maybe i over reacted, I told her bring her key in. I just feel like it's going to be a continuous battle of Let's Get Over on Jeff, that she's not looking out for me. She responded she's busy and will hold my key ransom until she gets her final check, 2 weeks from now. I don't think I want to wait that long.
